Merry Christmas

What a busy and wonderful holiday season it has been so far.  The Alcatel-Lucent craft fair was great.  My best seller was this cute gift card holder, a total of 70 (yes 7-0) made and sold. I posted the specs on my site if you want to make them on your own.  They would make great Birthday Gift card holders as well.

I also sold out of my All Occasions cards, which means a couple of weeks of CASEing to replenish my stock before I go back to original designs.  Here are a few I've done in the last couple of days. So many more to go on Pintress :)

Mojo Monday 267

Last weekend was fun at the Kinburn craft fair, sold a bunch of Christmas card sets and met some wonderful new people.  My mom and I shared a table, she makes the prettiest book marks.  Here is our table:
One of my customers was looking for a Wedding card but I did not have one in stock, so guess what my mission was this week?  The couple getting married had a Midievil themed wedding and I wanted to try and match that style.  I really struggled with the correct color combination but finally choose the Stampin Up DSP from 2012 Sale-A-Bration "Everyday Enchantment".  Using Calypso Coral and Pool party as accent colors.  I love the way it turned out, can't wait to deliver it to my anxious customer today.

Finally in Our Forever Home!

October was a busy month.  Not only were we officially homeless for 4 weeks but my craft room was limited to a shoe box.  We are finally in our forever home (YAY) and my craft room is all unpacked :) I've been busy the past two weeks preparing for two upcoming craft fairs. Along with my regular stock, I've created 4 new Christmas themed cards to sell.  I love the Snow Swirled stamp set from SU, so elegant.  I am really happy with how these turned out.

Sunday I had two girlfriends over to help me put everything together.  What a fun and inspiring day! My gf suggested putting together DIY kits to sell at the craft fairs.  Simple but fabulous cards that you can put together at home.  All clients will need are glue stick, scissors and tape. Here is the final intended product but of course personal creativity is always recommended.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I've been dormant for a while, soo busy packing up our house!  We have moved and are officially homeless.....until October 10th that is.  Thank god for loving parents who were willing to board us for the 4 weeks in between. My last project to get complete where my Halloween invites.  The new Stampin Up set 'Googly Ghouls' are super cute, I love the 3D googly eyes. I sent out 3 similar invites;  the one below, the Witch in Rasberry Ripple and co-ordinting cardstock and the Mummy in Pumpkin Pie and DSP.   Now time to find a Halloween costume and figure out scary snacks and ghoulish drinks for the big night.

Labor Day Weekend

Between shopping at Micheal's and Pinning on Pintrest I am full of inspiration this long weekend.  Three great cards in two days.  I still have so many ideas that I might do a few more before the weekend is done.
This first one was a roll over from last weeks Mojo Monday.  I started a second card to submit but didn't get a chance to finish in time.  The white cardstock is a retired SU DSP with shinning embossed flower pattern.  I used crystal effects to add a little dimension to the flowery cut out.
This one was a CASE I stumbled upon with a few modifications.
This one is an original inspired by a hanging tablet at Micheal's.  I just love this SU DSP, very sad that it is retired, at least I have a back up pack :)

MOJO251

INSPIRATION IS BACK!  I did two cards this week and love both.

First one is for the Mojo Monday sketch. Masculin cards are always hard for me but I think this one turned out pretty nice.  I love, love the Open Sea stamp set.  Paired with Early Espresso, Baja Breeze and Not Quite Navy cardstock and ink.

The next one was a freebee :) A girl at work received a thank you card similar to this and very simple.  The price was 4.95.  I figured I could create one better for a fraction of the price.  The cupake is embossed as well for added texture with Melon Mambo of course :)  The bakers twine in chocolate chip YUMMY!

MOJO250

I didn't get a chance to post this Mojo Monday sketch last week but here it is.  This is the very first Stampin Up set I ever used 4 years ago.  I finally bought my own set in the spring.  Not sure how I feel about this card.  I love the ink and card stock.  The DSP is from Sale-a-bration '12 and it is my favorite ever.  I just found this one was hard to add that extra POW!

MOJO249

Time has been flying this year and it's already July. Another Birthday for a good freind this weekend so I had to put a rush order on this Happy Hour stamp set. I know it will get well used. Using all four of the Stampin Up 2012-2014 In Color. The drink layout was a CASE from Splitcoast stampers.  There are so many talented people out there.

MOJO248

I had some fun the last two weeks with the Stampin Up in color 2012-2014 colors. Last week was to play along with Mojo Monday 248.  Two birthday cards for some special kiddies.  The weekend was so busy that I did not get a chance to enter the contest, boo! :) maybe next month.

On Saturday my freinds Sarah and Brad celebrated their little Nathan's first birthday.  The Mickey Mouse stamp set was a great find by my wonderful husband.
Then on Sunday was my neice Addy's birthday.  She is the bigest girly, girl besides me and only 3 years old :) Summer Starfruit and Melon Mambo cardstock and ink LOVE IT!. The Princess stamp was another great find by my hubby.  Then add sparkle!

MOJO246

Been a while now since I blogged here, I was trying out a couple of other sites to see if Blogging was any easier......and back again. I am so not a vetran blogger :)  I loved this Mojo Monday challenge and decided to try out the Stampin Up Love & Sympathy stamp set.  I've had it for a while, one of the girls at work requested a few sympathy cards, just in case.  Hoping I never have to use them. I used Rich Rasberry and Old Olive color combination.  The card, if I must say, turned out beautiful!

MOJO224

I actually managed to finish this Mojo Monday challenge on the Tuesday, there is a first for everything I guess. I'm hoping to finish a few more this week and sell some to the staff at work. This cute card stock was picked up in the clearance rack at Stampin' Up. Glad I bought a few packs cause I love it.

MOJO223

Ok so my first try did not work, attempt two. Loved making this card for a girl at work. I chose to use a 6x6 to allow co-workers to sign the inside. This is an awesome mixture of Attic Boutique paper and Grenier Victorien stamp set from the Stampin' Up new occasions mini-catalogue.
